What We Do

A month ago, we reached out to GTFM in August of 2021 regarding a kitchen remodel / addition. They were very responsive and provided a plan that worked for my wife and me. Their work was very high quality. They offered creative options when we weren’t sure what we needed. Very pleased with the workmanship and the communication. You don’t get good communication with lots of contractors. GTFM provided excellent communication throughout the entire job. I would definitely recommend them for any addition or home project.

Thanks for checking in! My wife, kids, and I came to NJ last night to visit my parents and stayed the night (now that we have operational bedrooms and two spectacular bathrooms!). (See pic attached.)

My parents are speechless! In their 42 years of owning it, it’s never looked so good! (They even cried when they first saw it!)

Moreover, my extended family who has visited my parents over the past 40 years are stunned, not only at the quality of the workmanship but how it all came together on time! It’s now a much more bright and welcoming place. No more cracks in the walls or leaks from the ceiling, and no more embarrassment.

We have a few small things pending (a piece for the two-zone system, some fixtures, fastening baluster caps, etc.) but, all in all, it’s amazing!

I’m grateful to have connected with you and Rick, Ricky, and the rest of the team. GTFM did an amazing job!

Moreover, I’m especially grateful to you. When we met in July 2021, you may remember that I had gotten estimates from two others that I wasn’t too comfortable with. But, you put me at ease, made the design and development process a smooth one, and got me set up with production. Thank you!

We just completed a project with GTFM and I could not be more impressed with how professional, knowledgeable, creative and coordinated the entire process was. Our addition looks nothing like what we imagined and that is a great testament to the quality work from GTFM. From Steve working with us every step of the way in designing and redesigning the space, to Rick delivering the absolute perfect recommendations each step of the way (did a great job of identifying where to spend and where to save), Ricky managing the day to day operations of the project (my neighbor described the work as “perfect choreography”) and to Stephen and the rest of the crew really providing quality work at every corner, we are thrilled with not only the outcome, but also the process. They were there when they said they would be, provided picture updates when we were not there to see, provided consistent text updates so we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it and were always available for my random, off-hours calls and questions. We will no longer search for contractors for future jobs as we have been fortunate enough to find GTFM!!

GTFM added a sunroom to the rear of our home. From beginning to end, their performance was exemplary. They were very helpful in arriving at a final design, incorporating extras and adapting to the few changes we requested. The quality of the work is excellent, we are very happy with the new space. One of the best qualities of the team at GTFM is the very rapid response time to questions via text, email, or phone – sometimes within minutes. Rick Sr was outstanding managing the project and patiently explained details with us. It was a bit challenging in the midst of Covid raging and materials shortages, but all came together just fine. The crew even helped us move new furniture in at the end when we discovered we would have to take the doors off to get it inside. I cannot imagine anyone doing better than GTFM did with us and would recommend them highly.

After 35 years of living in the same home in Ramsey, we decided undertake an addition to the back of our home, something we had contemplated for many years but didn’t pursue until we established contact with GTFM. We were intrigued by several elements of the GTFM design build proposal. GTFM provided us with a number of conceptual drawings, which allowed us to determine the placement and specific configuration of the addition. Once the final design was established GTFM engaged the services of an architect to complete the construction drawings. We then met with the owner, Rick, who reviewed the project and construction schedule with us in detail. Rick communicated with us on a daily basis throughout the construction process. The project was completed within the six-week schedule as specified and within the cost parameters agreed upon. We couldn’t be more pleased with the professional manner in which this project was handled throughout the marketing, design and construction phase. We have been enjoying our addition for over a year now and our only regret is we didn’t meet Rick sooner. We recommend GTFM highly with no reservations whatsoever.

Our Center hall Colonial was failing us as our need for an accessible first floor master suite became apparent. Stuck on the side of our house was an underused three season room which had outlived its usefulness long ago. Rick and his team were the only ones who were able to grasp our impending need and deadline (hip surgery) and MADE IT HAPPEN. The house flows better, and the addition is First Class in every aspect.

Every bit of care and preparation was used before getting started; GTFM came to our house and showed us, suggested to us and related to us what would or would not work. We all agreed upon the final plan and they were started the same week. The work crews are seasoned professionals who have clearly done this before. There was no disruption to the household, and my family and 4 pets were always kept in mind.

Rick was always nearby and his suggestions and expertise were highly valued by my wife and I. We were never left alone, and the project’s work never stopped until they were finished and we were satisfied. The building materials were first class and they were able to match siding from years ago. If you had never seen this house, you would never know that such a complicated addition was present.

We cannot speak in enough superlative about GTFM and their team. It was a pleasure to have them in our home, and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best contractor your money will buy.

GTFM recently completed the addition of a large family room. They oversaw and coordinated all aspects of the project from the architect, obtaining permits, including all subcontractors, to our satisfaction. Thy work in everything requested and made constructive suggestions when appropriate. Overall we are very satisfied with the job and found GTFM easy to work with and highly recommend them.
