I rely heavily on online reviews when choosing companies, and I know there are others like me, so I hope this helps.After speaking with several builders, I found that GTFM stood out from the rest. From the beginning, Steve, Rick and his team treated my home like it was their own. I didn’t just feel like a client, they made it feel personal. The GTFM team communicated with care, honesty, and a true sense of commitment.We undertook a complete home remodel plus addition, and GTFM gave us a realistic timeline of 16 weeks. Despite some delays due to the town’s permit process, the project could have been finished even sooner. Throughout the process, Rick Sr. was incredibly attentive, responding promptly and addressing every issue with a clear plan.One of the most impressive things was their design input. Some of their ideas initially seemed risky or unconventional to us, but the final results were structurally sound, functional, and beautiful. They knew what they were doing.GTFM is what I would consider a medium-range builder in terms of budget. Like most builders, they stick strictly to what's in the agreement, so I’d recommend setting aside some extra funds for unexpected upgrades or changes during construction. That said, the value we received for the cost was outstanding.We both work full-time and didn’t always have the time to stay on top of every detail, but the GTFM team followed through every week on what was discussed. They were on-site daily and consistently moved the project forward without delays.Even after the work was completed, their support didn’t end. Four months after moving in, I had an issue with a cooler setting, and they sent someone over the very next morning. Their responsiveness and commitment after completion are truly commendable.We are incredibly grateful for everything GTFM has done. You always hear horror stories about contractors or people doing work on your house, etc. but working with GTFM was quite literally the opposite from the moment we met them. We had them put an addition on our side yard, consisting of a new bedroom and a large family room and the process was seamless. every cost was itemized, no payments until the project started and their communication and response time for any questions or concern was timely. The entire project was complete ahead of schedule and we were never waiting on them to get things finished. I was very nervous going into this project, but I could not have asked for a better experience. I can’t wait to watch the Giants lose in my new living room!!!

They are a bunch of efficient people: from the design stage to the end. They've made up for the lost time whether it be permit related or weather related delay. Quality work, too. In terms of price, middle of the road, neither cheap nor expensive according to my neighbor who introduced GTFM to me. It's office also get things done efficiently. So you can get a good night sleep when you work with them.

I love GTFM

After 35 years of living in the same home in Ramsey, we decided undertake an addition to the back of our home, something we had contemplated for many years but didn’t pursue until we established contact with GTFM. We were intrigued by several elements of the GTFM design build proposal. GTFM provided us with a number of conceptual drawings, which allowed us to determine the placement and specific configuration of the addition. Once the final design was established GTFM engaged the services of an architect to complete the construction drawings. We then met with the owner, Rick, who reviewed the project and construction schedule with us in detail. Rick communicated with us on a daily basis throughout the construction process. The project was completed within the six-week schedule as specified and within the cost parameters agreed upon. We couldn’t be more pleased with the professional manner in which this project was handled throughout the marketing, design and construction phase. We have been enjoying our addition for over a year now and our only regret is we didn’t meet Rick sooner. We recommend GTFM highly with no reservations whatsoever.

Our Center hall Colonial was failing us as our need for an accessible first floor master suite became apparent. Stuck on the side of our house was an underused three season room which had outlived its usefulness long ago. Rick and his team were the only ones who were able to grasp our impending need and deadline (hip surgery) and MADE IT HAPPEN. The house flows better, and the addition is First Class in every aspect.Every bit of care and preparation was used before getting started; GTFM came to our house and showed us, suggested to us and related to us what would or would not work. We all agreed upon the final plan and they were started the same week. The work crews are seasoned professionals who have clearly done this before. There was no disruption to the household, and my family and 4 pets were always kept in mind.Rick was always nearby and his suggestions and expertise were highly valued by my wife and I. The building materials were first class and they were able to match siding from years ago.
